The Showroom | Afterall Seminar Series: Emily Wardill

In this seminar Emily Wardill will discuss her new feature-length film, Game Keepers Without Game (2009) in conversation with the poet JH Prynne.

This event accompanied the exhibition, Emily Wardill: Game Keepers Without Game.

Afterall and The Showroom are collaborating on an ongoing series of seminars and events that take place at The Showroom alongside the publication of each issue of Afterall journal. These aim to create a forum to collaboratively flesh out parts of the editorial content of the journal with a small group of participants, and to broaden its remit by bringing it into contact with other ideas, practices and debates, which may build towards future issues of Afterall.

Born in 1977, Wardill is a London-based film maker. Solo projects include Spacex, Exeter (2009); ICA, London (2008); Fortescue Avenue/Jonathan Viner, London (2005 and 2006); and STANDARD (OSLO) (2008). In 2008 she was nominated for the Jarman Award.
