Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad has been leading a series of workshops with young people as part of his Communal Knowledge project Edible Garden Party. These lead to this one-day event, to inaugurate a small and otherwise inaccessible herb garden situated on a small pocket on land in Lisson Green Estate.
A number of recipes will be experimented with at the onsite kitchen using the readily available herbs from the garden.
Participants include members of Fourth feathers Youth Club, Fisherton Hall Youth Club, 60 Penfold and Lisson Green residents.
This is an event to accompany the project Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad: Edible Garden Party.
A London-based designer who graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2008, Hashemi-Nezhad has established a cross-disciplinary practice that produces work ranging from interior and public spaces, recipes to photography, public interventions and product design.
