Annette Krauss and Claudia Hummel stage a numberwalk in the area of Ricardo Basbaum’s diagram. A numberwalk is an exercise in encountering numbers in our immediate environment with the questions of, how we are implied in these numbers?
This event is then followed by an evening seminar at Whitechapel Gallery, with critical mathematician Eva Jablonka.

MoreBorn in 1961 in São Paulo, Brazil, Basbaum is an artist and writer living and working in Rio de Janeiro. His work has been exhibited at the 30º São Paulo Biennale (2012), Garden of Learning (Busan, 2012), Counter-Production (Generali, Viena, 2012) and documenta 12 (Kassel, 2007).
MoreBorn in Germany but now based in Utrecht, Krauss is an artist whose work employs performance, video, research, and pedagogy. She was The Showroom’s Artist Fellow 2012/13, researching notions of unlearning and (in)visibility.
Morere-projecting (london) was a programme of nine projects, each one connected to a location determined through the application of an abstract shape onto a map of the Church Street area.
