Founded in 1970, Studio Voltaire is a leading independent contemporary arts organisation based in South London. Its main activities are the provision of affordable studios, a renowned programme of exhibitions, performances and commissions, and a pioneering education programme.
The Showroom, Chisenhale Gallery and Studio Voltaire worked together on a shared programme of contemporary art commissioning and research, over three years (2013–2016) combining knowledge and resources to discover what it can do together that it cannot do alone.
